Annotation

The degree course enables the academic training of midwives in accordance with the Midwifery Act (Hebammengesetz). The aim of the course is to be able to practise the profession of midwifery on the basis of theoretical and scientific knowledge and to be able to provide individual support to women and families. In a practical part of the course, you will acquire action-oriented skills. For this purpose, the Catholic University of Applied Sciences cooperates with various practice facilities in and around Cologne.

The degree course comprises 7 attendance semesters (full-time) or optionally 14 semesters (part-time).
