Admission requirements
Applicants can be admitted to the Art sub-programme in the combined Teaching Qualification for Lower Secondary, Intermediate Secondary, Secondary and Comprehensive Schools degree course leading to a Master of Education academic degree if they can demonstrate at least 61 CP from a Bachelor’s degree course in Art (not including thesis), of which at least
32 CP professional experience and 5 CP in each of the following: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture and Photography
or Film as well as
12 CP extension studies in Art Practice
20 CP scientific discipline 10 CP Art History (taking into account all epochs)
and
2 CP in each of the following: Introduction to Theory of Art and Methods of Art History and Work Analysis
6 CP subject-specific didactics, 2 CP in each of the following: Principles of Art Education and Visual
Arts for Children and Adolescents.
