Through the minor subject "Christian Archaeology and Byzantine Art History" you acquire broad, basic knowledge of archaeological evidence of early Christianity up to the material legacies of the Byzantine Empire in the Mediterranean region.
You will learn to verbalise finds and findings precisely by the method of comparative visual analysis, to analyse your observations both comparatively and critically and finally to integrate them into the context of archaeological methods and findings.
