Civil engineering is considered the oldest discipline in engineering and deals with the planning, construction and maintenance of residential, office and administrative buildings, industrial buildings, bridges, roads, railways, tunnels, airports, harbours, canals, dykes and dams.
Environmental engineering is concerned with the planning and construction of supply and disposal systems and municipal infrastructure, with the management of water bodies, ground water, waste water and waste as well as with the fundamental questions of environmental protection and sustainability. By combining specialist knowledge, technical and communication skills, we train engineers who think in an interdisciplinary and solution-oriented way.
