The "Childhood Education compact" programme makes it easier for individuals who have completed training as an educator (or comparable educational training) and who have professional or family responsibilities to study on a part-time basis.

Admission requirements

General or subject-related higher education entrance qualification, or additional state examination for acquisition of the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences. + completed training as an educator or similar academic degree.
There is an admission limit of 50 first-year students per academic year. If the number of applications exceeds the number of study places, the study places are allocated in a local admission procedure.

Tuition fees

EUR 72.00 student union fee per semester + discounted Germany ticket for students per calendar month (voluntary).
