General Admission Requirements

General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur/no admission restrictions) or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences
Alternatively: A professional qualification or outstanding artistic ability
Artistic qualification (prooved by a selection procedure)

Samples of work can be submitted voluntarily as part of the application.
They offer us the opportunity to gain insights into the applicant’s artistic practice and interests in advance.
However, applications may also be submitted without work samples. In this case, we will meet you during the admission days to get to know you. Artistic aptitude is assessed during the admission days – both in interviews and through practical tasks in person or digitally.

Applications without a higher education entrance qualification are an exception. In these cases, work samples are mandatory, as this is the only way to determine special artistic aptitude.
