The interdisciplinary Master's degree programme conveys study contents from the three disciplines:

• Computer science and engineering sciences Study focus Intelligent Systems
• Social Work and Health Study focus Digital Health and Case Management

In the field of Digital Health and Case Management, students acquire the ability to take up a qualified position in the healthcare and social services after graduation, in which complex care processes are managed and coordinated autonomously.
They should be able to enable people with complex care needs due to health problems, disability or age to lead a life that is as self-determined and independent as possible by promoting resources and removing barriers. Barriers can relate to a wide variety of contextual factors, e.g. interface problems in the health sectors, occupations and social legislation, social norms and values, relationship conflicts, but also an underuse or misuse of technical aids or existing structural and architectural barriers.
