Target group
Based on your degree, you, with a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or other relevant engineering studies (e.g., Material and Product Development (MAP), mechatronics, Process Engineering, Production Technology, Automotive Engineering, etc.) will demonstrate the four-semester Master's degree in general Mechanical Engineering with the aim of deepening your knowledge as an engineer and broadening your problem-solving skills.
Annotation
Mechanical engineering means doing things yourself – and being flexible at the same time. Just like in our Master’s degree course in General Mechanical Engineering: in the first two semesters, you choose two of our five fields of study (Automotive Engineering, Biomechanics, Computational Engineering, Product Development and Production) based on your interests.
You also take additional individual modules from the other fields of study. Two scientific projects then offer you the opportunity to engage intensively with current research activities and application topics. And then you’ll already be on the home stretch with your Master’s thesis.
Thanks to the training in interdisciplinary skills, such as teamwork and moderation, integrated into the degree course, you are predestined to take on project and managerial responsibilities in mechanical engineering companies worldwide.
