Admission requirements

The requirement for admission to the degree course is a first professionally qualifying degree, a certificate of academic degree in a relevant Engineering course in the field of Structural Engineering from a German university with a standard period of study of at least six semesters and worth at least 180 credit points (CP) or an equivalent academic degree obtained at a university in Germany or abroad. Graduates from related disciplines may be admitted on an exceptional basis. The Examination Board of the Institute for Vocational Teacher Education at Münster University of Applied Sciences makes decisions regarding admission to the course upon application. Furthermore, a completed employment contract as a teacher at a vocational college must be proved on a regular basis. This can be replaced by professional experience of relevance to the subject during the degree course after the first professionally qualifying degree with certificate of academic degree.
