The degree course is an innovative concept that prepares midwives for future management positions, raises the profile of health experts for women of childbearing age and promotes a dedicated research competence for an academic career/doctorate.

The consecutive Master's degree programme is intended to qualify subject matter experts who have extended personal and scientific competencies in key fields of activity. They are able to meet the challenges of a managerial position in the profession and to help shape and further develop future care practice.

Admission requirements

For admission to the Master's degree programme "Midwifery and Women's Health" you need:

- a professional admission to the midwifery
- A completed Bachelor's degree course in the field of midwifery / midwifery or a related field with an overall grade of 2.5 or better. In addition, 210 ETCS must have been purchased.
- Students whose native language is not German must provide proof of sufficient German knowledge (DSH or DaF)
