Target group
Admission to the Master's programme in Psychology at DIPLOMA is also possible without a previous Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Any gaps in knowledge are filled in with bridge courses. If you pass, you will have fulfilled all the admission requirements. The up to three bridge courses cover three content areas, the skills of which are essential for the Master's programme. These include: Basic subjects in Psychology, Statistics and Clinical Psychology. The bridge courses are usually completed before the start of studies.
Annotation
Online study with live online seminars. You can take your exams online or at an exam centre – you can choose each time you register for an exam.
Studies commence in April and October. Also possible as a full-time distance learning course in 6 semesters.
You will complete around 25% of the seminars as real in-person seminars on site at the MEU (cooperation partner of the DIPLOMA University), either in Magdeburg or Munich. The seminars are held as three to four-day block events at the beginning of the semester.
Admission requirements
The admission requirement is a successfully completed Bachelor’s degree or Diploma examination in Social Education, Education, Therapeutic Education, Music Therapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Medicine, or in an equivalent subject area.
In this case, any gap in your knowledge of the fundamentals is compensated for by targeted gap courses. Upon successful completion, you will meet all admission requirements for the Master’s programme.
There are up to three gap courses, which teach you the skills required for the programme in the core subject areas of Principle Subjects of Psychology, Statistics and Clinical Psychology and are usually completed before the start of the programme.
