Hello! 👋 I’m Mark from Uganda, currently living in Augsburg, Germany. I’m studying for my Bachelor’s degree in International Information Systems at Universität Augsburg.
My journey to Germany began with a strong interest in technology and a desire to gain international academic exposure. With the support of the Malengo program, I moved to Germany in 2024 to pursue higher education and build a foundation for a future career in IT and data systems.
Outside of my studies, I’m passionate about research, tech talks, football, hiking, videography, photography, music, volleyball, and content creation. I also enjoy exploring new places and sharing helpful tips and real student experiences.
As a blogger, I’m excited to give you a glimpse into student life in Germany—from navigating daily life, cultural adaptation, and learning German, to managing studies and part-time work.
