The black forest hiking trip came on a day before which I had had a whole week of very long and tiring days, so I almost missed out on it because I was too tired to get out of bed, but I am glad I didn’t choose to stay in bed for a few extra hours of sleep because the trip was every bit worth it. extra
I’m no stranger to mountains and forests🌄, but I’ve definitely never ever hiked 11km (6hours) before. Even for someone completely non-athletic, it really isn’t as hard as it sounds, and the view was beautiful. There are places where you can stop at to have a rest or a drink along the way.
They always say the black forest cake tastes best in the black forest, but to be honest, it tastes the same in Offenburg. 🦋
