2. Museum, concert, opera, and theater ticket discounts

All over Germany, most museums, operas, concert houses and theaters try to make their events more accessible and appealing to young people through (large) price discounts or even very low fixed prices—like the €12 for young people in Hamburg.

3. Author Talks and Book Presentations

Author talks and book presentations—like the programs often offered at and act as catalysts to expand your horizons through firsthand exchange with experts in diverse fields. Reading is already a great way to learn, but listening to the authors is an additional amazing way to get inspired!

Bonus: Annual Exhibitions at Art Academies

Every year, the (Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg or HfBK for short) is an awesome opportunity for people of all ages to get to know Hamburg’s new classes of contemporary artists, but especially young people, to mix and mingle with creatives of their age. In the respected (Düsseldorf Art Academy), there are even two exhibitions every year, in conclusion of each semester.
